A copier toner is the most important part of your copier
machine. Without it, your machine cannot
perform any of its functions.
If you have just purchased a new machine, chances are you
also get free copier toner. There will
come a time though that when you need to replace your copier toner, that you'll
have to know exactly what kind and size will work with your machine.
Many people make the mistake of buying copier toner that is
not compatible with their machine, perhaps thinking that all copier toners are the
same. In fact, there are many different
kinds, and they come in varying sizes.
There are toners for black and white copiers, and toners for colored
copiers.
So before you go out to purchase a copier toner, check your
old cartridge for the right size and product code. This information is usually found at the side
of the ink cartridge. If your copier
machine did not come with a toner, you may refer to the instruction
manual. The right kind and size of
copier toner for your machine will be indicated there.
It is important to keep at least one extra copier toner at
all times, because it could be frustrating to run out of toner in the middle of
printing. If your copier machine is used
very frequently, then you need to keep more reserve toners.
You may also opt to purchase your copier toners by
bulk. This will allow you to save much
more, and you won't have to worry about running out of toner for a long time.
Different kinds of paper also require different toners. So if you plan to use special kinds of paper,
you must also have copier toners that are suited for that particular type of
paper.
Generally, you should replace your copier toner every month,
or every 2 months, depending on how many copies you make with it.
